Universal Studios Japan is on Osaka’s waterfront in Konohana Ward. Find it before choosing your train route—your nearest station is Universal City (JR), followed by a walk to the entrance.

Don't underestimate the trains. Osaka's rail system is excellent, but transfer platforms and park-bound services can get seriously packed.
For most people, the easiest way is by JR train to Universal City Station (ユニバーサルシティ), followed by a short walk. Osaka Station takes about 15 minutes on many services, but allow extra time for transfers, crowds, and walking through CityWalk.
Leaving the park can be just as crowded as arriving. After closing, crowds funnel toward Universal City Station. Double-check the platform and destination at Nishikujo—some trains continue through, while others require a transfer. Don't plan a tight dinner or Shinkansen connection immediately afterward.

At JR Osaka Station, find the Osaka Loop Line platforms.

Board a train bound for Sakurajima / Universal City if a direct service is available. Otherwise, ride to Nishikujo and transfer to the JR Yumesaki Line.

Get off at Universal City Station; walk about five minutes through CityWalk to USJ.
